Introduction:
I am a dedicated individual with a strong foundation in media, specialising in TV and live event production. With my passion for creativity, I want to progress to the next step of my career in live events. I bring a fresh perspective, exciting ideas, and a multitude of audio-visual skills. I’m eager to leverage my skills and experience to make meaningful contributions to the ever-changing field of live event production.
Experience:
AV Manager | Universal Live (May 2025 – Present)
I project-managed events across a wide range of industries and scales, from initial client consultation through to final delivery. I coordinated every aspect of venue planning, equipment specification, crew, logistics, scheduling, safety and client communication to ensure each event was delivered to a high standard.
- Managed onsite delivery and resolved technical issues across audio, lighting, video and staging to keep events running smoothly.
- Led and worked alongside large teams of technicians and event crew, maintaining quality and compliance from rig to de-rig.
- Acted as the first point of contact for clients, overseeing planning, quoting, sign-off and delivery while balancing technical aspects and budget, building on my sales experience to actively find the best solution based on the clients’ requirements.
- Consistently upsold clients to higher-impact AV solutions – LED walls, intelligent lighting, haze, and expanded video packages which improved both event quality and revenue.
Freelance AV Technician | Science Museum Group (2024-2025)
- I worked independently and directly with clients to successfully deliver project goals and high-quality corporate events.
- I contributed to the design and installation of new AV systems for newly constructed event spaces, ensuring flexibility and seamless integration across the site.
- I developed creative solutions to overcome the unique challenges of hosting events in a Grade II listed building, balancing innovation with preservation.
Freelance Camera Op & Production Crew | Various (2022-2025)
- I worked with production teams to rig and de-rig many live events, using equipment such as cameras, lights, trusses, projectors, LED screens, and more.
- I tested and prepared equipment as part of a team to ensure the show ran smoothly.
- I rigged and operated cameras in a multi-camera live environment, working with smaller professional-grade camcorders and professional broadcast cameras.
- I learned to adapt and react quickly to any problems during a live show to ensure smooth audio-visual coordination.
Sales Advisor | Samsung (October 2022 – May 2025)
- This role enhanced my interpersonal skills, creating confidence in engaging with diverse individuals. Notable transferable skills include proficient public speaking and adept persuasive pitching techniques and strong customer service skills.
- Even without a strong sales background, I became a top sales advisor within six months of joining the team, finishing with over £1M in sales.
Owner | Fusion Discord Bots (2018 – 2023)
At 16, I launched a successful business, developing software for online platforms. My hands-on involvement spanned initial design to software development and marketing, with skills acquired through self-taught independent learning.
- I designed, developed and deployed custom software to over 100k users.
- I created websites and backend systems, including subscription-based payment systems.
- I used various creative software products to create marketing materials, including websites, videos, animations, and 3D content.
- I managed user data while always following GDPR guidance.
